I did a search for Singaporean in Norway, found the Overseas Singaporeans forum. There are about 5 persons active in the forum. But seems that there is no Singaporeans living in Stavanger. I just find it hard to believe.
Dear Singaporeans, where are you hiding?

Weather and me

The first thing I have learnt in Norway is to check the weather forecast everyday. In the past, I have never paid so much attention to weather. Well, I am from Singapore, the tropical sunny island in Asia.Norwegian is often amazed when I told them there is only summer in Singapore. Some asked : 'Why do you move here?' I remember once I have to explain to a friend what is Air-Con. Tiziano Terzani called Singapore - An Air-conditioned Island. So why did I moved from torrid, scorching Singapore to chilly Norway? The fact is, Norway is not as cold as everyone has imagined. Or perhaps, Stavanger, where I live, is not very cold. It's just raining all the time. But the weather affect people's activities, one tends to check the weather so as to decide what could or could not be done the next day. What annoys me is that everytime we leave Stavanger, it is warm and sunny.
